MyMonk

Privacy note

MVP draft — pending legal review

MyMonk ("we") helps you create guided meditations narrated in a voice that sounds like yours. This note explains what we collect in the MVP and how you stay in control.

What we collect

  • Voice samples you record or upload, stored on the app server for cloning and regeneration.
  • Generated audio of meditation sessions created for you.
  • Waitlist email if you voluntarily join — stored in a local JSON file on the server.
  • Local session state in your browser (localStorage): consent timestamp, sample id, demo preference.

Third parties

When an ElevenLabs API key is configured, voice samples and script text are sent to ElevenLabs to create a voice clone and synthesize speech. Their processing is governed by ElevenLabs' terms and privacy policy. In demo mode, no voice data is sent to third parties.

Retention & deletion

MVP retention is indefinite on the local server until you delete. Use Settings → Delete my data to remove samples and generations. Production will add automatic retention windows and clone revocation.

Not medical advice

MyMonk is a wellness product. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or emergency care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline.
